Mama Maia Doula Care

Hi, I'm Maia Hoffman! I'm a prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula serving Wichita, Kansas and surrounding communities. I moved to Kansas with my husband in 2024, just one month before learning we were expecting our first baby! My pregnancy sparked a light in me to help support and educate other mothers and families. I've dedicated the years since to learning as much as I can about the world of birth. I feel lucky to have been raised in a very pro-birth, pro-women community in Eugene, Oregon (AKA Hippie Town, USA!). I bring a lifetime of education and real world experience in caring for and supporting others to my doula work. Beyond birthwork, I enjoy spending my time baking (sourdough is my specialty!), chaos gardening, reading, and being outside with my husband Brandon, our daughter Magnolia, and our rescue dog Pepperoni.

My approach to doula care is rooted in balance. I am focused on emphasizing the intersection of evidence, science-based practices and safe, holistic practices. I believe in and wholeheartedly support a woman's right to informed care and choice. My priority is empowering mothers and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

 

I take pride in serving birthing people regardless of race, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs, immigration status, disability, marital status, or any other status that may subject one to discrimination. I believe everyone has the right to birth support!
